Aéropyrénées and the Air Sénégal Cadets: A Project Comes to Life

The ATPL Theory courses began on Monday, May 30, for the first 12 Air Sénégal cadets at the Thiès Air Base in Senegal.

Aéropyrénées was present through its Head of Training delegate, Patrick Chabanis, who worked on developing the training schedule and taught the first module to the Air Sénégal cadets.

Following the establishment of the Aéropyrénées – Air Sénégal partnership, let’s take a look at the realization of this project and the launch of training for the first group of cadets, which began on Monday, May 30, 2022.

The first class of 12 Air Sénégal cadets was officially formed at the Thiès Air Base in Senegal, under the supervision of Patrick Chabanis, Head of Training delegate.

Patrick Chabanis arrived at Thiès Air Base on May 27, with the goal of setting up the ATPL training program and designing the training schedule.

On Monday, May 30, the ATPL courses began, with Patrick himself teaching the first module: 022 Instrumentation
