ATPL Integrated training ( Airline Transport Pilot License ) “AB-INITIO”

You wish to become an Airline Pilot ? Aéropyrénées propose to you the ATPL integrated training “Ab-initio” complete until the professional pilot license.

As part of your ATPL integrated training, Aéropyrénées offers a program tailored to meet all your needs while minimizing your investment. The ATPL Integrated is the most direct and fastest path to becoming an airline pilot in Europe or abroad. This program is designed for candidates with no prior aeronautical experience. However, under certain conditions, it can also be beneficial for pilots who have already logged flight hours.

While it is not the only way to become an airline pilot, the ATPL Integrated course is by far the most relevant curriculum for aspiring pilots. From the very beginning of the training, the student will be immersed in a professional and suitable environment, perfectly aligned with educational and professional objectives.

Prerequisites

  • Class 1 medical certificate

  • Baccalaureate level preferred

  • Good knowledge of English

The exam is conducted in the form of multiple choice questions.

Aeronautical English :

  • 7 hours of lessons/day for 5 days
  • Travel training
  • Listening to traffic
  • Learning crew communication
  • Real traffic listening and comprehension tests

The CPL, or commercial pilot license, will allow you to be paid for your duties as captain or co-pilot, within flying clubs, airlines or aerial work companies.

The MEP training is the qualifying training to be able to fly with multi-engine piston aircrafts. You will learn how to deal with asymmetries and engine failure in various scenarios. Highly anticipated by students in training, the twin-engine flight will allow you to put into practice all the knowledge acquired in a real situation.

.

The objective of IR training is to enable the pilot to fly day and night in IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) and IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions) conditions. It is essential for employment in an air transport company, given that flights are carried out in IFR mode. There are few jobs that will allow you to be paid as a pilot in the context of VFR (Visual Flight Rules) flights

The MCC, or working as crew, includes a theoretical part (20 hours of lessons) and a practical part of 20 hours on FNPT ( Flight & Navigational Procedure Trainer ) simulator, including 10 hours as PF (Pilot flying) and 10 hours as PM (Pilot Monitoring). You will learn to distribute tasks on board and to delegate some of them during all phases of a flight, whether in normal, emergency or distress conditions

The entire training takes place over an average period of 18 months (including holidays). It is divided into 2 fundamental parts, theory (theoretical ATPL) and practice (Learning to fly – Improvement and hour building – CPL-IRSE/MEP/IRME- MCC).

The number of training hours is optimized and oriented towards the skills that a young pilot starting out in a company must have. It takes place in different stages that we will present to you as clearly as possible.

You already have a PPL? Please note that you can deduct up to 25 hours of flight time.

The preparation time for an on-site ATPL is 9 months. However, you have 18 months (from the validation of your 1st module) to obtain your 13 certificates and 36 months to validate your entire course: ATPL-CPL-IR/ME-MCC.

The practical ATPL can only be obtained after 1500 flight hours and obtaining within a given time frame, the CPL IR – ME (Commercial Pilot Licence Instrument Rating – Multi – Engine), the certificate of use of the English language (FCL 055), as well as the MCC (Multi Crew Coordination

Complete, tailored, economical, simple and effective training.

The 100 KSA – New approved Program

Aeropyrénées now offers, as part of its Integrated ATP training and specifically within the theoretical ATPL segment, the new 100 KSA program.

This program, introduced by Civil Aviation authorities and EASA, incorporates continuous formative assessment throughout the theoretical training, in conjunction with the practical segment.

Formative assessment is an evaluation aimed at improving learning during courses by identifying learner difficulties (diagnosis). It is implemented to assist the learner (remediation) by adjusting the learning situation or pace of progress to provide (if necessary) appropriate improvements or corrections.

Aéropyrénées is one of the first schools approved for the new 100KSA program.

The SERIOUS GAME & the 100 KSA Experience within Aéropyrénées

A “Serious Game” is an activity that combines a “serious” purpose—such as educational, informational, communicative, or training goals—with playful elements. In essence, a serious game encompasses all board games, role-playing games, and video games that go beyond mere entertainment. Its purpose is to make formal content engaging through interactivity, rules, and potentially playful objectives.

Our serious games are designed with an educational purpose (training and simulation games) and represent the activities of an airline pilot’s profession. They are specifically developed to create a pedagogical link between theory and practice, based on the new prerequisites and Learning Objectives set by EASA.

Their aim is to make your pilot training engaging, organized around characters from the aviation industry (flight crew, cabin crew, ground crew, maintenance engineers). These games will immerse you in your future professional environment.

The Aeropyrénées e-learning platform has been specially created to meet the educational requirements of ATPL theoretical training. Incorporating theoretical courses, multiple-choice questionnaires, and numerous interactive exercises, this tool is an essential complement to traditional classroom instruction.
