A diversified and re-modernized fleet
With a fleet of around thirty aircraft, Aéropyrénées aims to maintain diversity. From the PA38 to the SENECA PA34, the company continuously modernizes its fleet by upgrading its avionics, primarily with GARMIN G5 and GTN650 systems.
Each year, the flight school invests in new aircraft. In 2021, Aéropyrénées signed the purchase of a PA28 160, a TB20, and two brand-new aircraft: SONACA 200s.
These two new aircraft will replace the various GROB 155A models, which have been used for both professional and private pilot training at the initial stages.
The GROB115A: it’s just goodbye
Until 2022, Aéropyrénées operated three Grob 115A aircraft. Now, the flight school is about to receive two new replacement aircraft: the SONACA 200s.
With each Grob having accumulated around 7,000 flight hours, it is time for them to retire. The first GROB (F-GGOP) left us in early 2022 for the Czech Republic, while the remaining two are currently awaiting their future owners.
The arrival of the two SONACA 200s will allow us to meet various challenges and expectations, particularly in terms of noise reduction and lower CO₂ emissions.

The delivery of our two new aircraft is scheduled for March. You will have the opportunity to see them during our open days at our Perpignan center (March 19, 2022) and at Toussus-le-Noble (April 2, 2022)!
