2022 promises to be a wonderful year filled with exciting projects for Aéropyrénées!
The program includes two major contracts signed by the school, reinforcing and solidifying trust in the centers and expertise of Aéropyrénées.
Already established on both the European and African continents with two ATOs, Aéropyrénées is expanding to the west coast of Africa, specifically in Thies.
The aim is to provide pilot training in accordance with EASA requirements.
Cadets from AIR SENEGAL will hold a dual license: ANACIM/EASA, allowing Senegalese pilots to operate without geographical constraints.
The French DGA
Following the tender for the renewal of initial training contracts from the French DGA (Direction Générale de l’Armement), Aéropyrénées has been selected to provide the initial theoretical training for:
- ATPL (H) Helicopter
- IR (A) Aircraft
Aéropyrénées has implemented all the necessary technical and human resources to meet this requirement.
Senegal Air Force
In parallel with the contract with the French DGA, Aéropyrénées is well-positioned to work on the initial training for future pilots of the Senegalese Air Force.
The program includes an integrated ATPL training for future cadets of Air Senegal.
A secondary base of Aéropyrénées is now operational at the military site in Thies, near Dakar.
Instructor pilots are currently undergoing training at the Perpignan site.
To date, around twenty candidates have been selected. They will begin their pilot training with the ATPL theoretical courses and the 100KSA in May.
Patrick Chabanis, the delegated pedagogical manager, will travel to Thies to start the courses and validate future TKI instructors.
