FE – CRE – IRE – FIE training (Examiner)

The training of examiners is provided at Aéropyrénées.

The authority of the examiners is granted by regulation. They must conduct aptitude tests, checks, or competency evaluations in the interest of aviation safety.

The DGAC must ensure, on one hand, that the candidate is sufficiently qualified, competent, and possesses all the necessary qualities to obtain, extend, or renew the sought-after authorization. On the other hand, it must ensure the quality and standardization of the examiner training provided in ATOs.

Aéropyrénées offers training and standardization for all types of examiners. However, the training for experienced examiners (“Senior Examiner” S-XXE) is solely provided by the DSAC ( Directorate of Civil Aviation Safety )
