The Pyrénées-Orientales enjoys exceptional annual sunshine (over 300 days a year) between the Pyrenées and the Mediterranean Sea, in the heart of the Catalan countryside.
The Mediterranean climate ensures relatively mild winters, with very little snowfall on the plains. Summers are hot. Winds play a major role, particularly the north-westerly Tramontane, which frequently reaches speeds of 70 km/h. Sea breezes, on the other hand, bring dullness and rain (ideal for IFR conditions).
300 days of sunshine yearly.
Optimal conditions for learning.
The choice of your training center must take into account the facilities where your ATO is based: type of airport, traffic, saturation, landing fees, local operators and business companies that will enable you to build up a network.
